In this session, we will focus on the various complexities of vehicle off-road (VOR)/machine down orders. The customer impact is clear: customers need machines to be up and running and are willing to pay (via dealers) for expedited parts and back orders. We will discuss how VOR orders affect each stage of the supply chain, from inbound through outbound transportation and returns. We will explore specific operational impacts and challenges posed by VOR orders, including: 

• Transportation Mode Changes: Need for specialized transportation modes, such as heavy-duty or oversized vehicles, to handle VOR parts 
• Warehouse Processes: Modified warehouse procedures to ensure efficient handling 
• Dedicated Warehouse Personnel: Requirement for specialized personnel with expertise in handling VOR orders and associated equipment
