The Ducker Carlisle stance is that AI isn’t going to reinvent the entire aftersales business, but there are individual applications where AI makes (or will make) a lot of sense. Forecasting, inventory planning, and even items like warehouse shift scheduling are some of the forward-looking applications of AI that are in the discovery phase at some OEMs. However, many OEMs are actively using AI (or simply some programmatic auto-response) in chat functions in the contact center or Q&A in applications like a parts catalog. This session will rely entirely on OEM case studies of current practical uses of AI across the organization.
